This bootcamp is designed to prepare you for entry-level construction roles, with a focus on safe site operations, vehicle movement control, and essential health & safety standards.
It combines practical training, accredited qualifications, and employability support to help you progress into work.
Open to individuals looking to start a career in construction, particularly in site safety or traffic marshalling roles.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Aged 19+
• Living in West Sussex
• Earning below £25,750 per year
Duration: 6 weeks
Schedule: Weekly sessions (primarily Mondays & Tuesdays)

• Introduction to construction site safety and regulations
• Understanding risk assessments, PPE, and hazard awareness
• Working safely around plant machinery and vehicles
• Construction site readiness and practical skills
Traffic Marshalling & Operations
• Traffic marshalling roles and responsibilities
• Standard hand signalling techniques
• Managing vehicle movements safely on-site
• Communication and coordination on active sites
Specialist Training & Employability
• Manual handling principles and safe practices
• Confined space safety procedures
• Self-employment basics within construction
• Job search techniques, CV writing, and interview preparation
