BA Business Top-up

This one-year Business Top-Up degree helps you build on your existing business qualification and achieve a full honours degree. You’ll develop advanced business knowledge, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on supporting small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).

The Business Top-Up degree is designed for students who have already completed a Level 5 business qualification and want to gain a full bachelor's degree in just one year. The course builds on your existing knowledge, helping you develop the advanced business and management skills needed for career progression.

Throughout the programme, you will explore how businesses operate, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). You will develop your understanding of business strategy, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving while strengthening your communication, research, and analytical skills.

The course combines academic learning with practical business knowledge, preparing you to manage real business challenges and make informed decisions in today's changing business environment. By the time you graduate, you will be well prepared for a wide range of careers in business or further postgraduate study.
Applicants should have an interest in business and demonstrate their motivation for studying the subject.

To join this one-year Top-Up programme, you will normally need one of the following:

A Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant subject.

A Foundation Degree.

A Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE).

Any Level 5 qualification worth 240 UK credits in a relevant subject.

This programme is delivered by UKCBC in partnership with Plymouth Marjon University. Applicants must meet the University's entry requirements, and all offers are subject to final approval by Plymouth Marjon University.
