BSc (Hons) Business and Human Resource Management with Foundation Year

The BSc (Hons) Human Resource Management is designed to develop the knowledge and skills needed to manage people effectively in modern organisations. You will explore recruitment, employee development, leadership, and workplace strategy, preparing you for a successful career in HR and business management.


  • The BSc (Hons) Human Resource Management is designed for students who want to understand how people contribute to the success of organisations. Throughout the course, you will explore the key principles of human resource management, including recruitment, employee development, performance management, employment practices, leadership, and organisational behaviour. 


    You will learn how businesses attract, support, and retain talented employees while developing strategies that improve workplace performance and employee wellbeing. The programme combines business theory with practical learning, helping you develop valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and strategic thinking. 


    Through real-world case studies and business scenarios, you will gain the confidence needed to manage workplace challenges and support organisational success.

  • ARU London's standard offer:

    96 UCAS Tariff points from 3 A Levels (typically BCC) or equivalent.


    Alternative qualifications include:

    Irish Leaving Certificate: BBCCC

    Scottish Highers: BBCCC

    BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DMM in a business-related subject

    International Baccalaureate Diploma: 24 points


    Applicants must also have:

    At least 3 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above, including English and Mathematics.

    English Language Requirements


    Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate:

    IELTS 6.0 (Academic) or an equivalent recognised English language qualification.

    Mature Applicants


    Applications are welcomed from mature students who can demonstrate relevant work experience. Each application will be considered individually based on previous experience, qualifications, and suitability for the course.
