This one-year Business Management Top-up degree helps you build advanced knowledge and practical skills for a successful career in business. This BSc (Hons) Business Management (Top-up) programme is designed for students who have already completed a relevant Level 5 qualification and want to progress to a full undergraduate degree. The course provides an opportunity to develop advanced business knowledge and prepare for a wide range of career opportunities in a global business environment.
Throughout the programme, you will explore key areas including strategic management, people management, business law, marketing, finance, project management, information systems, big data, innovation, and enterprise. You will develop the ability to analyse business challenges, make informed decisions, and apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations.
Applicants are normally expected to have successfully completed a relevant Level HE5 qualification, such as:
Foundation Degree
Higher National Diploma (HND)
Equivalent professional qualification at the same level
Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency through IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
Applicants may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.
Alternative qualifications and relevant experience may be considered based on individual circumstances.
