The BSc (Hons) Mental Health and Wellbeing is designed to help you understand the factors that influence mental health and wellbeing while developing the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to support individuals, families, and communities in a range of professional settings.

The BSc (Hons) Mental Health and Wellbeing is designed to give you a strong understanding of the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Throughout the course, you will explore topics such as mental health promotion, psychological wellbeing, communication, safeguarding, resilience, and person-centred support while developing the skills needed to respond effectively to a wide range of mental health needs.
The programme combines academic learning with practical application, helping you develop critical thinking, problem-solving, empathy, and professional communication skills that are highly valued across the health and wellbeing sector. You will gain an understanding of current mental health challenges and learn how evidence-based approaches can improve outcomes for individuals and communities.
