The Extended MSc International Business with Advanced Practice combines academic study with valuable workplace experience. Students build business knowledge through an integrated Graduate Certificate before completing a master's degree and a professional internship or consultancy project, preparing them for careers in international business, management, consulting, and global organisations.

The Extended MSc International Business with Advanced Practice is designed for students who need additional preparation before starting a master's degree. The course combines a Graduate Certificate with a full MSc programme, helping students develop academic, research, and professional skills before progressing to postgraduate study. Students explore international business, global marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, leadership, and business strategy while learning how organisations operate in global markets.

Teaching includes lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials, and independent study, allowing students to build communication, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The Advanced Practice stage provides valuable professional experience through a 15-week internship or an applied consultancy project with a real organisation.
Applicants should normally hold a third class, pass, or ordinary degree, or an equivalent qualification. The extended route is designed for students who do not meet the standard entry requirements for direct entry to the MSc programme. Applicants whose first language is not English must have an IELTS score of 6.0, with no individual component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent qualification. The Graduate Certificate stage helps students develop the academic, research, and study skills required for postgraduate study. Students who successfully complete this stage with a minimum 50% pass mark in each module can progress directly to the MSc and Advanced Practice stages. Each application is considered individually to ensure applicants are prepared for postgraduate study.
