The Extended MSc Marketing with Advanced Practice combines a Graduate Certificate, master's study, and valuable workplace experience. Students develop specialist knowledge in marketing, analytics, and digital marketing before completing an internship or consultancy project, preparing them for successful careers in marketing, business development, consulting, and management.

The Extended MSc Marketing with Advanced Practice is designed for students who need extra preparation before starting a master's degree. The course combines a Graduate Certificate with the MSc Marketing programme, helping students build the academic, research, and professional skills needed for postgraduate study. Students develop knowledge of marketing strategy, digital marketing, innovation, marketing analytics, and sustainable marketing while learning how businesses attract and retain customers.

Teaching includes lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials, and independent study, helping students strengthen their communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The Advanced Practice stage gives students valuable workplace experience through a 15-week internship or an applied consultancy project with a real organisation.
Applicants should normally hold a third class, pass, or ordinary degree, or an equivalent qualification in any discipline. The extended route is designed for students who do not meet the standard entry requirements for direct admission to the MSc Marketing with Advanced Practice programme. Applicants whose first language is not English must have an IELTS score of 6.0, with no individual component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent qualification. The Graduate Certificate stage helps students build the academic, research, and study skills needed for postgraduate learning. Students who successfully complete this stage with a minimum 50% pass mark in each module will progress directly to the MSc Marketing with Advanced Practice programme.
