MA Business Management

The MSc Business and Management is designed for graduates who want to develop advanced business knowledge and leadership skills for today's global business environment. The course explores key areas of management, strategy, leadership, and organisational performance while helping you build the analytical and professional skills needed for senior roles across a wide range of industries.


  • The MSc Business and Management is designed for graduates who want to develop advanced knowledge and practical skills for leadership and management careers. Throughout the course, you will explore how organisations operate in an increasingly global and fast-changing business environment while gaining a strong understanding of management, strategy, leadership, innovation, and organisational performance. 


    The programme combines academic theory with practical application, encouraging you to analyse complex business challenges and develop effective solutions. You will strengthen your skills in research, critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making through applied projects and real-world business scenarios. Supported by research-informed teaching and practical learning, you will develop the confidence to lead teams, manage organisational change, and improve business performance. 

  • Academic Requirements

    To apply for this programme, you will normally need:

    • A UK honours degree with a classification of 2:2 or above in any subject, or an equivalent overseas qualification.

    • Applicants with international qualifications will have their qualifications assessed for UK equivalence using ECCTIS (formerly UK NARIC).

    Personal Statement

    As part of your application, you will need to submit a 300-word personal statement explaining your interest in the course and your future career goals.

    English Language Requirements

    If your previous degree was not taught in a country where English is the main language, you will need to provide evidence of English language ability.

    This normally requires:

    • IELTS 6.0 overall, with no individual component below 5.5, or an equivalent recognised English language qualification.
