The MSc Artificial Intelligence Technology develops advanced skills in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software development. Students gain practical experience using industry-standard tools and complete real-world projects, preparing them for careers in AI engineering, cloud technologies, data science, and digital innovation.

The MSc Artificial Intelligence Technology is designed for graduates who want to develop advanced knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence. The course covers programming, machine learning, cloud computing, artificial intelligence for the Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, software development, and digital technologies.
Students learn how to design, build, and deploy AI solutions using industry-standard tools and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud and AWS. Teaching combines lectures, workshops, tutorials, and practical activities to help students solve real-world computing problems.
The programme also develops research, communication, critical thinking, and professional skills needed in the technology industry. A major research project allows students to apply their learning to a real AI challenge.
Applicants should have a minimum 2:2 honours degree, or an equivalent qualification, in any subject.
The course welcomes graduates from a wide range of academic backgrounds who want to build a career in artificial intelligence and digital technologies. Applicants whose first language is not English must have an IELTS score of 6.5, with no individual component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent qualification.
Applications are considered individually, and relevant work experience may also be taken into account where appropriate. Students should have an interest in technology, problem-solving, and innovation to benefit fully from the programme.
