MSc Business with Business Analytics

The MSc Business with Business Analytics combines business management with data analytics and business intelligence. Students develop practical skills in leadership, strategy, project management, and data-driven decision-making, preparing them for careers in business analytics, consulting, project management, and leadership across a range of industries.

The MSc Business with Business Analytics is designed for graduates from non-business backgrounds who want to develop business knowledge and specialist skills in business analytics. The course covers leadership, management, innovation, project management, business intelligence, strategic marketing, and data analytics. Students learn how organisations use data to improve decision-making and business performance.

Teaching combines lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials, and practical business activities to help students build analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Throughout the course, students work on real business challenges and develop experience using business intelligence tools and data analysis techniques. The programme also includes a research dissertation, allowing students to investigate a business topic in depth.
Applicants should normally have a minimum 2:2 honours degree from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification. This course is specifically designed for graduates from non-business backgrounds who want to develop business and business analytics skills. Applicants whose first language is not English must have an IELTS score of 6.0, with no individual component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent qualification.

Each application is considered individually, and relevant work experience may also be taken into account where appropriate. Students should have an interest in business, leadership, problem-solving, and data analysis to gain the maximum benefit from the programme.
