MSc Computing and Technology
The MSc Computing and Technology develops advanced knowledge of computing, software engineering, cybersecurity, database analytics, and digital leadership. Students gain practical experience through projects and coursework, preparing them for careers in software development, digital transformation, IT management, consulting, and a wide range of technology-related roles.

The MSc Computing and Technology is designed for graduates who want to expand their knowledge of computing, digital technologies, and IT leadership. The course covers software engineering, programming, database analytics, cybersecurity, innovation, digital leadership, and business intelligence.
Students learn how to solve complex technology problems while developing practical and professional skills that employers value. Teaching includes lectures, workshops, laboratories, seminars, and tutorials, giving students opportunities to apply their learning through real-world projects and collaborative activities.
The programme also develops communication, leadership, research, and problem-solving skills to prepare students for senior roles in the technology sector. A major research project allows students to investigate a computing topic in depth and demonstrate their technical expertise.
Applicants should normally have a minimum 2:2 honours degree, or an equivalent qualification, in any subject from a recognised university. The course welcomes graduates who want to improve their computing and digital technology knowledge, regardless of their previous academic background. Applicants whose first language is not English must have an IELTS score of 6.5, with no individual component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent qualification.
Applicants who do not meet the academic entry requirements but have substantial work experience in a business organisation or a relevant professional qualification may also be considered. Each application is reviewed individually to assess the applicant's qualifications, experience, and potential to succeed on the programme.
