MSc International Project Management
The MSc International Project Management develops the skills needed to lead projects across global organisations and cultures. Students learn strategic planning, project delivery, financial management, and leadership while gaining practical experience through case studies and research, preparing them for careers in international project and programme management.

The MSc International Project Management prepares graduates to manage complex projects across different countries, organisations, and cultures. The course develops the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to successfully plan, deliver, and lead international projects. Students explore strategic management, project implementation, financial and contractual management, programme and project management, and the use of modern technologies in project environments.
They also learn how cultural differences, legal systems, ethics, communication, and global business practices influence project success. Teaching is delivered through lectures, workshops, studio-based learning, case studies, and practical activities that encourage students to solve real business challenges. The programme is accredited by the Association for Project Management (APM), giving graduates a recognised qualification valued by employers.
Applicants should normally have a minimum 2:2 honours degree from a recognised UK university or an equivalent international qualification. The course is suitable for graduates from a wide range of academic backgrounds who want to develop specialist knowledge in international project management. Applicants whose first language is not English must have an IELTS score of 6.5, with no individual component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent qualification.
If applicants do not meet the academic entry requirements, they may be eligible to join the programme through a Pre-Master's pathway before progressing to the MSc. The University considers applications individually and welcomes students from diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
