BA (Hons) Business Studies (Top-Up)

This Business Studies top-up degree helps students progress from a Higher National Diploma to a full bachelor’s qualification. Delivered with the University of West London, it develops advanced business knowledge and analytical skills in areas such as strategy, management, and decision-making, preparing students for professional business careers.

This Business Studies top-up bachelor’s degree is designed for students who have already completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) or an equivalent qualification and want to progress to a full bachelor’s degree. Delivered in partnership with the University of West London, the course helps you develop advanced business knowledge and the skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive business environment.

Throughout the programme, you will explore key areas such as business strategy, management, decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving, while strengthening your ability to analyse and respond to real business challenges. The course combines academic study with practical learning and has been developed with input from employers, professional organisations, and academic experts to reflect current industry needs.

By the time you graduate, you will be prepared for a wide range of careers in business, management, and related professional fields.
Year 1

You need 112 UCAS points from Level 3 qualifications such as A Levels, a BTEC Extended Diploma, an Access to HE Diploma, or T Levels. You also need GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above, or an equivalent qualification.

Foundation Year Entry

You need 72 UCAS points from Level 3 qualifications, plus GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above, or an equivalent qualification.

Direct Entry

You may be able to join Year 2 or Year 3 if you have relevant higher education qualifications or credits in a related subject.

Mature Applicants (21+)

If you do not have the required qualifications but have relevant work experience, you are encouraged to apply. Applications are considered individually. Some applicants may need to complete an English language assessment.
