BSc (Hons) Business, Hospitality and Events Management with Foundation Year

The BSc (Hons) Hospitality and Events Management is designed to develop the knowledge, practical skills, and leadership abilities needed for a successful career in the global hospitality and events industry. You will combine business management with hands-on event experience, preparing you for a wide range of management roles across the sector.


  • The BSc (Hons) Hospitality and Events Management is designed to prepare you for a successful career in one of the world's fastest-growing industries. Throughout the course, you will develop a strong understanding of hospitality, events, and business management while studying key topics such as customer experience, event planning, operations, leadership, marketing, finance, and strategic management. 


    The programme combines academic learning with practical experience, including the opportunity to plan and deliver a live event project that reflects real industry practice. 


    You will build valuable transferable skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and project management that are highly valued by employers. 

  • Standard Entry

    Applicants will normally need:


    96 UCAS Tariff points from three A Levels (typically BCC) or equivalent.


    Alternative qualifications accepted include:

    Irish Leaving Certificate: BBCCC

    Scottish Highers: BBCCC

    BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DMM in a business-related subject

    International Baccalaureate: 24 points

    A university Foundation course recognised by Anglia Ruskin University


    Applicants must also have:

    At least 3 GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including English and Mathematics.

    English Language Requirements


    Applicants whose first language is not English must normally achieve:

    IELTS 6.0 (Academic) or an equivalent recognised English language qualification.

    Mature Applicants


    Applications from mature students with relevant work experience are welcomed. Each application is considered individually based on qualifications, experience, and overall suitability for the course.
