BSc (Hons) Business and Law with Foundation Year

The BSc (Hons) Business and Law combines key business principles with an understanding of legal frameworks that influence organisations. You will explore management, legislation, corporate regulation, and strategic decision-making, preparing you for careers across business, management, and legal-related sectors.


  • The BSc (Hons) Business and Law is designed for students who want to understand how legal knowledge influences modern business decisions and management practices.

     

    Throughout the course, you will explore key areas of business and law, including corporate regulation, consumer legislation, human resource management, marketing, information management, and strategic decision-making. 


    You will develop an understanding of how organisations operate within legal, economic, and social environments while examining important issues such as globalisation, sustainability, and business ethics. The programme combines business theory with practical application, helping you develop valuable skills in analysis, communication, problem-solving, research, and decision-making.

    ARU London's standard offer

    96 UCAS Tariff points from 3 A Levels (typically BCC) or equivalent.


    Alternative qualifications include:

    Irish Leaving Certificate: BBCCC

    Scottish Highers: BBCCC

    BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DMM in a business-related subject

    International Baccalaureate Diploma: 24 points


    Applicants must also have:

    At least 3 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above, including English and Mathematics.

    English Language Requirements


    Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate:

    IELTS 6.0 (Academic) or an equivalent recognised English language qualification.

    Applications from mature students with relevant professional or industry experience are welcomed. Each application is considered individually based on previous qualifications, experience, and suitability for the programme.
