This Business and Tourism Management course helps you develop the knowledge and skills needed for a career in the tourism industry. You’ll learn how tourism businesses operate, explore sustainable and responsible tourism practices, and build practical skills in management, leadership, and problem-solving for a wide range of career opportunities.

This Business and Tourism Management programme is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for a successful career in the tourism and business sectors.
Throughout the course, you will explore how tourism organisations operate and how the industry responds to economic, environmental, and social changes. You will develop an understanding of key areas including business management, leadership, entrepreneurship, customer experience, sustainable tourism, and the ethical responsibilities of the travel industry.
The programme helps you build practical skills in communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking, preparing you for a wide range of career opportunities. You will learn how businesses meet customer needs, manage challenges, and create sustainable solutions in a changing global environment. By the time you graduate, you will be prepared for roles in tourism management, business operations, entrepreneurship, or further study.
Applicants Must be Aged 18+ and:
Have a Level 3 qualification (equivalent to either 60 credits or 80 UCAS tariff points).
Have the following English and Maths qualification: GCSE grade 4/C or CEFR B1.
Be assessed via an interview for listening, speaking, and writing (more details shown in ‘Next steps’ section).
Applicants Aged 21+:
We welcome applications from students 21+ who do not match the standard entry requirements but who can demonstrate willingness and commitment to studying this subject, and who can evidence academic, professional or vocational experience in a related field.
