This degree gives you the knowledge and practical skills to improve health and wellbeing in communities. You'll explore public health issues, gain real-world experience through placements, and prepare for a rewarding career in health and community services.

This degree is designed for students who want to make a positive difference to the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. Throughout the course, you will explore important topics such as public health, health psychology, health inequalities, disease prevention, and health promotion, developing a strong understanding of the factors that influence people's health.
You will have opportunities to tailor your studies by exploring areas such as mental health, substance use, or social exclusion, helping you build knowledge in subjects that interest you most. Real-world placement opportunities allow you to apply your learning in professional settings and develop valuable workplace experience.
Alongside subject knowledge, you will strengthen your communication, research, problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. By the time you graduate, you will be well prepared for careers in public health, healthcare, community services, health promotion, or further study.
