The BSc (Hons) Computing with AI Technology equips students with practical and theoretical skills in computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud technologies, and programming. The programme prepares graduates for careers in AI and related industries by combining academic knowledge with hands-on learning and industry-relevant assessment methods.

The BSc (Hons) Computing with AI Technology programme combines fundamental computing principles with cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies, preparing students for careers in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. Throughout the course, you will develop knowledge in programming, software development, machine learning, cloud computing, data analysis, and intelligent systems while exploring how AI is transforming industries worldwide.

Designed for both aspiring computing professionals and experienced IT practitioners, the programme blends academic theory with practical application through hands-on projects and real-world scenarios. You will strengthen your technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills while learning to design, develop, and evaluate innovative AI-driven solutions.
Applicants may join the programme at Year 1, Year 2, or Year 3, depending on their previous qualifications and academic experience.

Year 1 Entry (Level 4)
Applicants should have:

112 UCAS Tariff points from a recognised Level 3 qualification.

GCSE Mathematics and English Language at Grade 4/C or above, or an equivalent qualification.

Year 2 Entry (Level 5)
Applicants should have:

A Higher National Certificate (HNC) or an equivalent Level 4 qualification in Computing, Information Technology, or a related subject.

Year 3 Entry (Level 6)
Applicants should have:

A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Foundation Degree in Computing, Information Technology, or a related field.

Applicants holding a relevant computing or IT qualification alongside a DipHE, Level 5 Certificate, Diploma, NVQ, or another equivalent Level 5 qualification may also be considered for entry.
