The BSc (Hons) Computing with Information Technology Management programme combines advanced computing knowledge with the business and leadership skills required to manage technology in modern organisations. The course explores key areas including software development, cloud computing, database systems, cybersecurity, DevOps, and business intelligence, helping students understand how technology can drive innovation and improve business performance.

Through practical projects, industry-focused case studies, and hands-on learning, students will develop the ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective IT solutions while strengthening their analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The programme also focuses on communication, teamwork, and project management, preparing graduates to bridge the gap between technology and business strategy.
Applicants can join the programme at different stages depending on their existing qualifications. Entry to Year One normally requires 112 UCAS Tariff points, together with GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade 4/C or an equivalent qualification. Applicants seeking direct entry into Year Two should hold an HNC or another recognised Level 4 qualification in Computing or Information Technology. Entry into the final year is available to students with an HND, Foundation Degree, DipHE, or an equivalent Level 5 qualification in a relevant computing discipline. Applicants entering at Levels 5 or 6 must also provide evidence of a Level 2 Mathematics qualification or demonstrate equivalent knowledge through previous study. Mature applicants with suitable industry experience may also be considered.
