This BSc (Hons) Cyber Security programme equips you with the technical knowledge and practical skills to defend organisations against cyber threats. The BSc (Hons) Cyber Security programme prepares you to tackle the growing challenges of cybercrime by developing the technical expertise needed to protect networks, systems, and sensitive data. Created in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy and EC-Council, the course combines academic study with practical, industry-focused training.
Throughout the programme, you will explore cyber security technologies, network defence, ethical hacking, security policies, and industry best practices. Alongside your degree, you will have the opportunity to work towards professional certifications including CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Security, Cisco CyberOps, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), enhancing your employability.
Applicants should normally have:
104–120 UCAS Tariff points.
A Levels, a BTEC Extended Diploma (DMM), BTEC Diploma (D*D), T Level (Merit), or an equivalent qualification meeting the minimum UCAS tariff requirement.
A BTEC Subsidiary Diploma may be considered alongside other qualifications.
Direct entry into Year 2 or Year 3 may be available for suitably qualified applicants.
