BSc Global Business Management (Marketing) (Top-up)

This course combines business management with specialist marketing knowledge, preparing students for careers in marketing, digital communications, and business development. The programme develops practical skills in market research, strategic planning, and digital marketing, enabling graduates to succeed in today's competitive global business environment.

  • The BSc (Hons) Global Business Management (Marketing) provides students with a solid understanding of business management while developing specialist expertise in marketing within an international environment. The programme explores key areas such as market research, digital marketing, consumer behaviour, strategic planning, and brand management, enabling students to understand how organisations attract, engage, and retain customers.

Through practical projects, case studies, and industry-focused learning, students develop analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills that are highly valued by employers. The course also strengthens leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities while encouraging students to apply marketing principles to real business challenges.

  • The programme offers multiple entry points depending on previous qualifications. Applicants wishing to join Year Two (Level 5) should normally hold a recognised Level 4 qualification in a business or management-related subject. Direct entry to Year Three (Level 6) is available for students with an HND, Foundation Degree, Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE), or another recognised Level 5 qualification in a related discipline.

Applicants with relevant professional experience but without standard academic qualifications may also be considered individually. International applicants must meet the University's English language requirements, typically achieving an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no individual component below 5.5, or an approved equivalent qualification. Applicants entering Levels 5 or 6 must also provide evidence of Level 2 Mathematics or an equivalent qualification where required.
