BSc Global Business Management (Human Resource Management) (Top-up)
The BSc (Hons) Global Business Management (Human Resources) develops the business and people management skills needed to succeed in modern organisations. Students gain expertise in recruitment, employee development, organisational behaviour, and strategic HR while preparing for careers in human resources, management, and organisational development.

The BSc (Hons) Global Business Management (Human Resources) combines core business management knowledge with specialist human resource expertise, preparing students to manage and develop people in a global business environment. The programme explores key HR functions, including recruitment, employee development, performance management, organisational behaviour, diversity and inclusion, and strategic workforce planning. Students also gain a broader understanding of international business, leadership, and responsible management while developing practical skills through case studies, projects, and collaborative learning. The course encourages critical thinking, effective communication, and ethical decision-making, helping students understand how people management contributes to organisational success. By combining academic theory with practical application, graduates are well equipped for careers in human resources, business management, and organisational development, or to continue their studies at postgraduate level.
The programme provides several entry routes depending on previous qualifications. Applicants joining Year Two are normally expected to hold a recognised Level 4 qualification in business, management, human resources, or a related subject. Direct entry to Year Three is available for students with an HND, Foundation Degree, Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE), or another recognised Level 5 qualification in an appropriate discipline. Applicants with relevant professional experience may also be considered where suitable. International applicants must meet the University's English language requirements, typically achieving an IELTS score of 5.5 overall, with no individual component below 5.5, or an equivalent recognised qualification. Applicants should also satisfy any country-specific academic entry requirements published by the University.
