This Business Management programme is designed to prepare students for careers in the business sector by developing the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed for supervisory and management roles.
Throughout the course, you will explore how organisations operate and gain an understanding of key business areas including management, operations, leadership, and decision-making. The programme helps you develop the ability to apply business knowledge to real workplace situations and respond effectively to challenges faced by modern organisations.
You will build valuable skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making, helping you become a confident and adaptable professional. By the time you graduate, you will have the knowledge and practical experience needed to contribute effectively in a range of business environments, progress into employment, or continue your studies towards a higher qualification in business and management.
To apply for this course, you will usually need at least three GCSEs at grade C (4) or above, including Maths and English (or an equivalent Level 2 qualification).
You may also qualify if you have one of the following:
At least 32 UCAS tariff points (or 80 under the previous system)
A Level 3 business-related qualification
An Access to Higher Education diploma that includes a business pathway
If English is not your first language, you will need an IELTS score of at least 5.5 or an equivalent English qualification.
