FDSC Business
This Foundation Degree in Business Management provides a practical pathway into higher education and the business sector. Combining academic study with real-world learning, the course develops essential business knowledge, professional skills, and workplace experience while preparing you to progress into employment or top up to a full honours degree.

The FdA Business Management programme is designed to provide a strong foundation in business principles while preparing you for a successful career or progression to a full honours degree. Equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor's degree, the course combines academic study with practical learning that reflects the demands of today's business environment.
Throughout the programme, you will explore key areas of business management while developing valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and decision-making. Practical activities and industry-focused learning help you apply business theory to real-world situations, building the confidence employers value.
Applicants should normally have:
48 UCAS Tariff points.
A minimum of two A Levels, BTEC Extended Diploma (PPP), BTEC Diploma (MP), or an equivalent Level 3 qualification.
GCSE English at Grade 4/C or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 in English.
Applicants may also complete the QA Higher Education English Test, achieving a minimum score of 55% where applicable.
Applicants whose qualifications are not in English may be required to provide certified translations. An admissions and academic interview forms part of the application process, particularly for applicants who do not meet the standard entry requirements or who have been out of education for an extended period.
