Working at Height Awareness
This course is designed to provide the essential knowledge and skills needed to work safely in environments where there is a risk of falling.

Falls from height are one of the leading causes of workplace injuries and fatalities.
This course provides essential awareness training to help individuals identify risks, understand legal responsibilities, and implement effective control measures when working at height. Participants will gain knowledge in hazard identification, risk assessment, and the safe use of access equipment to prevent accidents.The course covers the following key areas:

What is considered working at height?
Hazard identification when working at height
Responsibilities related to working at height
Working at Height Regulations 2005
Competency requirements for working at height
The hierarchy of control measures for working at height
Risk assessment procedures for working at height
Planning a rescue when working at height
Selecting the correct access equipment for working at height
This is a half-day course delivered in a classroom environment using a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, group discussions, and practical examples.
Learners will be assessed through a short multiple-choice test at the end of the session to confirm their understanding.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate and an awarding body-issued card verifying their Working at Height Awareness training.
