The CITB Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) is a two-day course designed for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities.
It enhances their understanding of health and safety regulations, best practices, and legal responsibilities to help create a safer working environment.
This course is delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams, allowing participants to complete their training from anywhere with internet access.There are no formal entry requirements; however, candidates must have a good understanding of the English language and provide a valid form of ID.
Crystal & Co will undertake an initial assessment with the candidate to ensure this is the appropriate qualification before enrolling them onto the programme. This process will help identify any gaps and assist in planning the assessment.The trainer assigned to your course is CITB-accredited and approved to deliver this programme.

Upon successful completion, candidates receive a CITB Certificate for the Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), which is valid for five years.
Renewal Requirements:
Candidates must renew their qualification before it expires by completing the SSSTS refresher course.
If the certificate expires, candidates must retake the full SSSTS course.For companies registered with the CITB for Grant and Levy purposes, funding may be available (subject to CITB approval).
Grant Process:
Ensure your delegate provides the company name, registered address, and CITB Levy Number during registration.
The CITB will process the grant directly with the registered company upon course completion.
