Candidates must be skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting steel, and ensuring that all steelwork is securely fixed and complies with industry standards for quality and safety.

This qualification allows learners to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and understanding of steel fixing, showcasing their ability to carry out steel fixing tasks effectively on-site.

It is suitable for those already working in the construction industry who wish to gain formal recognition of their expertise in steel fixing.

Note: This is an NVQ qualification. If you require a CSCS card as well, please contact us to discuss the process and any additional charges.
